Role / Responsibilities
BTG is seeking mid-level professionals to serve as Program Managers on our national Client Service (CS) team. Program Managers work with the team that delivers on-demand solutions to solve client needs on a project-by-project basis. Ideally, the Program Manager will be based in Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Autonomously lead and execute all phases of our on-demand consulting solutions for projects from deal development to project close, including proposal drafting, contracting, and related activities
  • Identify and curate the best in-demand Consultants within our independent professional network as part of overall client solution
  • Develop detailed written client proposals in partnership with our independent professionals
  • Partner with internal teams, including sales and legal, to support the Client Service processes
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants throughout the lifetime of the project
  • Gain exposure to the consulting world in a wide variety of business industries and functional areas
  • Work closely with formerly trained Consultants with MBAs from leading universities, who will partner with you on a portfolio of projects

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years in a comparable industry/role
  • Demonstrated proficiency leading sensitive and mission critical tasks in a project management capacity
  • Proven time management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Willingness to be flexible and work on a variety of projects at once
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional phone presence; Proven ability in speaking dynamically with senior executives across various corporations/industries
  • Proven leadership ability; prior experience leading a team or mentoring a group of individuals
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player, able to contribute to the overall goals of a team/region
  • Self-starter/entrepreneurial nature with high intellectual curiosity
  • Quick study with ability to come up to speed quickly across various business functions and topics
  • BA/BS degree from a leading University (focus in Business preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Role/Responsibilities

As Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the financial functions of BTG. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining accurate accounting of the company’s finances; preparation of regular financial statements; invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections; cash management; overseeing tax preparation & filing (in conjunction with outside accountant); vendor management; employee expenses, payroll. Managing a team of 4 (responsible for A/R, A/P, and payroll functions) who all work remotely, we are flexible as to where the successful candidate is based.

  • Manage complex billing, A/R and A/P – Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable/ accounts payable and payroll team
  • Oversee all aspects of financials and participate in monthly/annual closing and reporting activities for the company
  • Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
  • Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection
  • Monitor and analyze monthly financial results against budget· Ensure compliance with financial and internal control procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate and Manage the external audit process and issuance of GAAP financial statements
  • Extensive review and analysis of detailed pricing models for contracts.
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll for employees
  • Establish, maintain, and document internal accounting controls and procedure
  • Seek process improvements to drive expense savings and to improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial close

 

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role from B2B, professional services industry strongly preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience managing a team with managerial skills including staff management, development, coaching, delegation, and multitasking
  • Audit experience is a must have
  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of both recurring and more difficult tasks/assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and hands on
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
