Role & Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator will provide day to day business administration and project support to HR team. This person will work closely with our Human Resources Manager establishing a high standard for data monitoring, compliance, and integrity. They will have the opportunity to improve the level of HR services for employees and managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a main point of contact for data requests and reports from Parent Company; processes new hire information, terminations, and status changes
  • Primary point of contact for employment verifications and other region-specific verifications
  • Supports the administration of background check process and management of employee files
  • Prepare reports as needed through HRIS system on a regular basis
  • Able to do ad hoc reporting as needed for special requests
  • Update company policies and state documents on HRIS system and Box
  • Participate in HR projects as needed such as annual compliance projects
  • Use DocuSign to send and track new hire documents from employees
  • Help run the commuter reimbursement program
  • May perform other duties and special projects as assigned


  • 1-3 years of human resources or administrative experience in roles requiring strong project coordination
  • Some understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology would be ideal
  • Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office products and experience working with an HRIS database a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Experience working with people at all levels in a kind and positive manner
  • Professional services experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification
  • Thrives in fully remote, distributed environment
  • Self-motivated with a passion for follow-through and completion of work — excellent at time management, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Enjoys detailed work where your verbal and written communications are accurate and timely
  • Customer-centric with a focus on the employee experience
  • Ability to handle sensitive and personal information with a confidential approach
