Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Talent Onboarding Coordinator to join BTG’s Talent Solutions team. Reporting to the Senior Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directly facilitating the independent consultant onboarding process, ensuring compliance while providing an exceptional candidate experience that positively reflects BTG’s brand and core values. Location for this role is flexible and may be virtual. Central or ET time zones preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact when an independent consultant is selected for a consulting project by proactively communicating project kick off expectations and requirements needed prior to the candidate’s start date
  • Initiates and schedules pre-employment onboarding activities including background checks, digital reference checks and drug screens. Proactively resolves background check and reference check issues and other items that would delay a candidate’s project start date
  • Completes data entry and administrative related activities, tracking completion of onboarding activities
  • Utilizes dashboards to ensure activities are tracking to the project start date
  • Ensures 100% compliance with employment laws. Provides guidance to commercial teams on legal requirements and BTG policies related to paid sick time, paid vacation time, benefits eligibility (medical and 401k), taxes, and payroll processes.
  • Proactively works with talent to resolve barriers that may delay a project start date and update commercial teams if their assistance is needed
  • Verify the completion of candidate required tasks including I9 verification, payroll activities, and other forms
    required by BTG or the end-client. Coordinates with corporate HR department.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in administrative or recruiting; experience in screening and onboarding new hires
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
  • Ability to demonstrate superb customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to remain highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving results
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions
  • Ability to prepare and deliver successful presentations
  • Proven time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to prepare and deliver successful presentations preferred
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply employment-related laws, rules, and regulations preferred
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • BA/BS degree preferred
