Troy has served in a succession of executive business development and general management roles in his nearly 20-year career. He specializes in building sales and go-to-market strategies, and has extensive experience in new product development and corporate development. Prior to joining BTG, Troy was responsible for the building and eventual management of The Advisory Board Company’s international business, entering over 20 new markets from the UK to Australia from his base in London over an 8-year period. Now back in the Washington DC area, Troy spends most of his free time with his wife happily raising two young and energetic children. Troy holds a BS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a M.Sc. in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

Thomas A. Collet

He received his B.Sc. from RWTH Aachen in Germany and his PhD in biochemistry from MIT. Thomas worked as Engagement Manager for McKinsey, as VP of Business Development for Monsanto, and as CEO for several clinical-stage pharmaceutical companies.

Laura Rose Klein

Laura fell in love with technology when she saw her first user research session over 20 years ago. Since then, she’s worked as an engineer, user experience designer, and product manager in Silicon Valley for companies of all sizes. She’s written two books for product managers, designers, and entrepreneurs, Build Better Products (Rosenfeld Media ’16) and UX for Lean Startups (O’Reilly Media ’13), and she’s a frequent speaker at tech conferences, including SXSW, Lean Startup Conference, and Mind the Product.

Laura founded her own product design and management consultancy called Users Know and previously worked on projects with Intuit, VMware, Rackspace, Pivotal Labs, Plantronics. She earned her degree from Stanford University.

In her spare time, she chases her three children, shoots photos in black & white, and writes one-word movie reviews. She holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the honors college of the University of Michigan.

Sharon began her career at Johnson & Johnson, with industry experience in both pharmaceuticals and consumer products. Prior to joining BTG, Sharon led complex engagements spanning both public and private sectors at Accenture and Deloitte, for clients such as the Department of Homeland Security and the World Economic Forum. She holds a BA/BS in International Studies and Business from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.

Diane has over 20 years experience in management consulting, business development, product management, operations and finance. Her consulting experience includes the Boston Consulting Group, Executive Perspectives and independent consulting engagements. Within Fortune 500 organizations, Diane served as a Regional VP of Product and Service Innovation at WellPoint (now Anthem), a Director of Marketing for the Surgical Products Division of Baxter Healthcare and a Systems Engineer and Western Region Marketing Staff member at IBM. Most recently, Diane assisted in the start-up of a law firm and assumed the role of Controller overseeing finance and operations. She holds a BA in Mathematics-Applied Sciences from UCLA and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Matt was one of the first members of BTG’s Client Development team and has been with BTG for over four years, helping the company grow its client base. He develops and manages client relationships with a focus on retail/CPG, healthcare, and B2B services clients within the Fortune 500. Matt began his career as a consultant with a Bain consulting spinoff focused on process efficiency and scope of work management. He has a BA in English from Bates College with a double minor in both Chemistry and Classics.

Sarah McNeilly began her career as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting where she focused on the aerospace sector, and then ran the consulting services for Venturepark, a Goldman Sachs-backed media incubator in Paris. She then worked in Corporate Development and Strategy for Alstom Grid and AREVA T&D in the US and Europe. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from the University of Delaware.
